As promised, here is the Ruka Nogi post ^_^

[WARNING!! Contains spoilers! Reference up to CHAPTER 157]

We all know that in the Time-travel arc, Ruka finally gave up his love for Mikan, after seeing how his best friend Natsume and Mikan are destined for each other. It was a really heart-breaking scene – seeing Ruka crying… I myself actually cried with that part of the story.

Yes, I ship Natsume-Mikan, but I feel sorry for Ruka. We all know since the beginning that he isn’t ‘the one’ for Mikan. But despite that, I really like him; I actually like him better than Natsume. So now, for my favorite Ruka Nogi, we are going to list the girls that can be Ruka’s next love. I can think of three, but if you have more suggestions (you ship someone for Ruka other than these three), just leave a comment ^_^

## Aoi Hyuuga

Ruka has known Aoi, Natsume’s really cute imouto, earlier than the other two girls, so she’s one step ahead of them with that. Considering Aoi as a childhood friend is already a point, and add the fact that she is ‘my best friend’s little sister’ makes another plus.

I don’t know if you agree with me that Aoi is a possible girl for Ruka, but I do find her as a likely partner for the animal pheromone alice boy. And I think Natsume will support them… if ever, that is.

But no, she’s not the one I like for Ruka.

## Sumire Shouda

Sumire a.k.a. ‘Permy’ is the president of the Natsume Ruka fan club, and she’s been a fan of the two ever since. Now that Natsume is ‘engaged’ with Mikan, Ruka is her only hope for ‘love’.

I actually like Sumire and her persistence in chasing Natsume and Ruka. And considering the thing between Natsume and Mikan, I’m half-believing that as the president of the Natsume Ruka fan club, she can be Ruka’s next love. The other half would be my shipping for Sumire and Koko.

Ok, I made a major mistake with that. It isn’t half… I guess it’s actually 10-90: 10 for Sumire-Ruka and 90 for Sumire-Koko. I’m more of a Sumire-Koko shipper ^_^

## Hotaru Imai

And the last but definitely not the least in my list, Hotaru Imai, Ruka’s previous love’s best friend. She’s been Ruka’s blackmailer since that ‘Piyo’ incidence in volume 1, taking cute and ‘embarrassing’ photos of Ruka to sell. Well, who knows if Hotaru actually takes those photos so she can keep them herself? Hotaru is actually showing some signs of like towards Ruka (you remember during the New Year’s, when she ate Ruka’s own made, uh, whatever you call that new year’s food?)… Ah, she’s the most possible new love for Ruka… in MY opinion. What’s only needed is for Ruka to realize how petty Hotaru is, and how he likes her…

Just imagine, Hotaru is Mikan’s best friend, while Ruka is Natsume’s best friend…  It’s a best friend parade! ^_^

I don’t know how to explain more, so I’ll stick with:

I ship Hotaru and Ruka, and I’ve read many fanfictions with their tandem. I hope the story of the manga ends with them together…
