This isn’t new to an anime lover’s ear, the very kawaii Gothic Lolita Fashion!!!

The trend started in Japan; they even have a magazine dedicated to the fashion, the Gothic Lolita Bible. Take a look at the cute dresses of these girls:

♥ If you play Tekken 5, 5 DR or 6, you may be familiar with the street fighter Emily ‘Lili’ Rochefort. She is a great example for the Gothic Lolita fashion on games. She is the character I use on the game, and to make her a Gothic Lolita, I customize her and add up these pieces: the dress hat/ black hair, the shoe and stockings, the Goth makeup, and mix the colors black and white or you can just use black – and – tadaan! You have a Gothic LILI for the Iron fist tournament!! ♥

My own Gothic Lolita Fashion ♥

Because of the kawaii impact of this fashion on me, I tried to do the trend using the pieces I have in my closet. Unfortunately, I lack pieces, so the Gothic Lolita Fashion I tried on myself, doesn’t look like Gothic Lolita ^.^

Here are the items I used (but I can’t provide pictures!! Maybe I’m just shy or something ♥)

1. Black sleeveless dress – The only BLACK dress I have. The ruffles below the dress is what made the dress look gothic.
2. White Stockings – The pair I used doesn’t have laces, but I think the stockings did its job for making the outfit like gothic Lolita.
3. Thin Black Headband – Since I don’t have a dress hat that I want, this thin headband worked as a head accessory. I pinned it up in the side of my hair, and looked like a gothic black tiara!
4. White Belt – For adding figures!! I wore it to add some color on my plain black dress, and to add some figure too!
5. Necklaces – Silver accessories add a glitter look!! I used two necklace, the other is longer than the other. Maybe Cross pendants will do better, but I don’t have one :c
6. Black doll shoes
7. Black furry wire ponytail – I don’t know the REAL use of this thing, since we got it for free at Watsons, but I found a use for it in this outfit!! I used it a bracelet!! (hmmm, maybe it’s too thick?)
8. Put heavy white face foundation, black eyeliner, and I painted my nails in a pure whit color, add black lipstick too….and….I’m now a Gothic Lolita!! (no pictures? Imagine!! ♥)

Maybe I’ll hunt for more pieces that I will add for this outfit..or use it as a Halloween Party costume?..watchasay?
