One year prior, Hanamaki Ichiko’s older bro went to a small town called Okunezato, but mysteriously disappeared and was never heard of again. Now a uni student thinking how to spend her summer vacay, Ichiko gets invited by her childhood friend Kagutsuchi Hino to attend a meet-up of a certain online club that focuses on discussing the mysteries of Okunezato town. Ichiko accepts the invitation, goes to the town to investigate her bro’s disappearance, and meets several people at the hotel she’s staying at.
I’m (unexpectedly) back after almost two years since my otoge “retirement” and boy I’m glad I returned with a really good game! This is a non-spoiler review of the summer mystery game 7’scarlet! ･´∀`･)

[Otome Game Review] Hakuouki Shinkai Kaze no Shou

Localized in the west as “Hakuouki Kyoto Winds”, Hakuouki Kaze no Shou is the first half of Hakuouki Shinkai, the remake of Otomate’s most popular game. This is my review of Kaze no Shou, the game that got me into a drama because some people thought that I was discouraging others from buying and supporting the game when I tweeted “Don’t play Hakuouki Kyoto Winds unless you want to be left hanging until they release the second part (god knows when)” sigh sigh sigh ( ´_ゝ｀)

[Otome Game Review] Zettai Kaikyuu Gakuen

Fujieda Neri is a normal high school girl who lives with her father in a poor living area in Japan. On her seventeenth birthday, after school, she arrives home only to find her house burning down and her father missing. The only things her father left her are a password-locked mobile device and a letter telling her to go and study at Kaikyuu Gakuen, a prestigious school for rich kids. Neri decides to enter the school located in an island, and there, she’s introduced to a harsh caste system within the student body: the queen, whose orders are absolute, is on top of the system; the rose class (咲き誇る薔薇), which gets almost all the privileges, is the highest class a student can attain; the honeybee (名もなきミツバチ), the class where Neri is assigned, is the middle class; and the stone (捨て置かれた石ころ), which is almost similar to being a slave, is the lowest class.
The caste system aside, the school isn’t exactly what it looks like on the surface, and Neri is just about to uncover the secret that the school is hiding……
Hakuouki SSL: Hijikata Toshizo

I wasn’t really fond of Hijikata and his long route in the original Hakuouki game… and SSL didn’t help with me liking him either lol XD. Posted this review+summary one week late because a strong typhoon hit our area, which cut down our electricity for three days and I had some business to do after, but anyways!! here it is! XD
